Please help us give a big welcome to Joe Sample AKA “Be Like Joe” as our new Sales Director. Joe will oversee the sales operations in the Raptor’s organization. In this role Joe will help build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships. We are very excited to have Joe as part of our team because he’s multitalented and a goal oriented individual. Joe’s skills has lead him to offer multiple years of success in Sales, Client Services and Account Management.
Since the start of the pandemic Joe, a Cedar Rapids native, has gotten viral recognition all over social media due to his ongoing support to local businesses. Joe has become known for his love of local food, grabbing food to-go and posting what he's eating on his social media. A year and a half later, Joe has supported over 150 different eateries.
Prior to joining the Raptors, Joe has been a Regional Manager at Cornerstone Building Brands for about 17 years and will continue his role there along the Raptors. Also, for the past 12 years he has been a soccer referee both at NISOA and U.S. Soccer Federation.
A fun fact about Joe is that he attempted to make a dunk at an University of Iowa game in a gorilla suit. When he's not eating out, he likes to spend time outdoors with his family, fishing, camping, hunting and coaching soccer.
