Wichita, KS - The Iowa Raptors FC claimed the Heartland Super Cup 2020 championship title after defeating FC Wichita 2-0. Goals in the final came off a beautiful free kick from Jonnathan Pachar and a breakaway finish from Gordy Gurson. This is the first ever Iowa Raptors FC championship in their first ever season of play!
The Raptors advanced to the final after defeating Sunflower State FC on Saturday with only 10 men for the whole second half. Guilherme Lima had the lone goal for the Raptors who came out on top 1-0.
The Raptors will conclude their season Saturday August 8th vs. CKS Warta SC from Chicago. Kickoff is at 6pm at Metro Youth Football Association Complex.
