Welcome back Ayaka Matsumaru to the Iowa Raptors Women’s team

The Iowa Raptors FC are excited to announce another signing to our Women‘s WPSL team Ayaka Matsumaru. Like our last signing, Ayaka played with us last year on our Women’s exhibition team and we are cant wait to see her back in action!

Ayaka is from Chiba, Japan. Ayaka attended to Teikyo Heisei College In Japan her first year of college. She then transferred to Mount Mercy University for her Sophomore and Junior years. During the summer between her years at Mt Mercy we got to see Ayaka play for the Raptors Women’s and recognized the talent she possesses. She then went into her fall season and earned 3rd Team All-Conference honors! She then transferred to Kaiser University in Florida to continue her Soccer and Academic Career. We are excited to have her coming back here to Cedar Rapids this summer to our WPSL team!
