Alexa Martin joins as Women’s Assistant Coach

Please help us in givin a warm welcome to Alexa Martin! Alexa joins us as a Cedar Rapids Prairie High School Alum, where she was a 4 year starter and selected two years for the MVC All-conference team.

Martin later graduated from the Universoty of Dubuque where she was a 4-year starter for the Spartan Women‘s Soccer Team and Co-captain for 3 years. She earned 4 years on the ARC All-Conference Team, 3 years All-Academic Team, 2019 All-Region Scholar Honors, 2019 United States Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team Honors, and her 12 assists in 2019 holds the fifth all-time single season assists record in school history.

Last year Alexa played On the Raptors Women‘s exhibition squad and was the graduate assistant coach for University of Dubuque. This Fall will be her second year on staff as coach at the University of Dubuque Women’s team, and we could not be happier to have her starting her coaching journey with the Raptors Women‘s team.

Alexa will join Curt Lewis (Women‘s Head Coach) and Goalkeeper Coach Anthony Velez on the Women‘s Coaching staff.
