The Iowa Raptors FC are excited to welcome to our next player addition to our 2022 Women’s team, Iowa Native Ellie Whiteman. Like our last 3 announcements, Ellie had just finished her first year of college soccer.
Ellie Whiteman is from the Quad Cities area and grew up playing for Sporting Iowa East. She is a member of a program that won four conference titles in her career, won two regional championships and made two sectional appearanes. She is a two-time winner of the Urbana Tournament, a member of the Sporting Iowa East club team, state runner-up, made a midwest regional appearance in 2019, a state appearance in 2020, while also lettering one year in cross country. Ellie is an Exercise Science major and Sports Management minor at University of Illinois-Springfield, where she is also an important player for their Soccer program.
