
The Iowa Raptors FC are excited to announce Madisyn Hunt as our second official player announcement for our 2022 women’s WPSL team! Madisyn will also join the office as our Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Madisyn just finished her collegiate career at Kentucky Wesleyan College this past Fall and we could not be happier to welcome her here full time. In addition to playing and her office duties, Madisyn is excited to be Coaching at our Atkins Recreational Program and for our Skills Training.
Madisyn is a native of Jasper, IN and played all her collegiate career at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Madisyn had a successful career with the last two years being the most notable. In 2019, she started in all 18 games and finished the season with 6 assists and scored a team high of 22 goals which ranked 6th in the country.
At the end of the season, Madisyn’s performances earned her many accolades including 1st Team All G-MAC, GMAC Offensive Player of the Year, 1st team All-Region, 1st Team CoSIDA Academic All-District, D2CCA 3rd team All-American, and 3rd Team Academic All-American.
Madisyn’s incredible ability helped her leave a permanent mark in Kentucky Wesleyan College and GMAC’s record books. In her last season she led the conference in both goals (13) and points (29). Nationally, she was 15th in total goals, 23rd in total points. Hunt finished her Kentucky Wesleyan career holding school records in goals (59), points (135), shots (367), game winning goals (11), and ranks 3rd all time in games played (74) and assists (17). Hunt's 59 goals is tied for a G-MAC record, and her 135 career points is 3rd all time. So far she has picked up a second GMAC Offensive Player of the Year and named Second Team All-Midwest Region by the Division II Conference Commisioners Association. Madisyn is considered to be the most accomplished player in Kentucky Wesleyan College Women's Soccer history and arguably the greatest G-MAC Women's Soccer player of all time.
