Raptors Set for Heartland Super Cup Finals This Weekend

Raptors to Conclude Summer Season with Heartland Super Cup Playoffs and Home Game Season Finale

Cedar Rapids, IA – The Iowa Raptors FC head to Kansas City this weekend to compete in the finals of the Heartland Super Cup tournament! The Raptors finished on top of their division to advance them to a semi-final matchup against Sunflower State FC. Kickoff is at 5pm CST. The Raptors and Sunflower State FC faced off this past weekend in Iowa, where the Raptors came out victorious with a 4-0 thrashing. However, it is expected that Sunflower State FC will be fielding a more competitive team closer to their home in what should be a great matchup.

Should the Raptors win against Sunflower State FC on Saturday, they will drive to Wichita to face off against the winner of the FC Wichita vs. Arkansas Pumas FC. FC Wichita finished at 4-0 in their division while the Pumas finished 3-1. Kickoff for this semifinal is at 7pm following the Raptors game.

The Raptors will conclude their summer season at home on Saturday August 8th against CKS Warta SC from Chicago, IL. Tickets to get into Metro Youth Football Association Complex are available for sale on the Raptors website. Adult tickets are $8 with an advanced online purchase or $10 at the gate on the day of the game. Children 12 and under can enjoy a $5-discounted ticket rate both in advance and day of. Social distancing rules and temperature checks will be in effect to assure a safe viewing experience for all fans in attendance.
