The Iowa Raptors FC are excited to announce another signing to our Women‘s WPSL team Barbara Russo. Barbara played with us last year on our Wonen’s exhibition team and we are thrilled to welcome her back!
Barbara is from Caracas, Venezuela, where she started playing soccer at 12 years old and was in several clubs In Venezuela. When she was 16 years old she received the call up to the U-17 Venezuelan national team to play some international friendlies against Argentina. Barbaro is now in the United States playing soccer in her second year at Iowa Western Community College, where she plays center back. Barbara is 19 years old and very excited for the opportunity to play again with the Iowa Raptors.
