Women’s Coach, Curt Lewis returns for 2 years!

Updated: Oct 30, 2021

The Iowa Raptors FC is happy to announce the return of Curt Lewis as the Women’s Head Coach for the next 2 years! Curt joined the Raptors last year to lead the women’s team on their inaugural exhibition season. The season was used as an opportunity to scout and identify local talent to create a good foundation for the 2022 team.

Prior to joining the Iowa Raptors Curt was the Women’s Head Coach at Cornell College from 2002-2005.

Curt has been Prairie Soccer Club’s Director of Coaching since 2007, where he has led PSC to their 1st Iowa State Cup Championship. Currently, Curt is the Varsity Head Boys Coach at Prairie High School, where he is the all-time leader in wins with over 150 victories, and has earned multiple accolades.

“I’m really looking forward to 2022 and excited at the challenge of whichever league we will be a part of. I think we have good core of players to transition from exhibition to league play and showcase our local talent from the area.” Curt said.
